This position is with our European Operations Office in Warsaw Poland. Local candidates only. Significant travel expected (within the EU)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:​

  • Manages complex software development projects in Agile environments using Agile methodologies (SCRUM)

  • Collaborates with the customer on assessing, defining, documenting and initiating projects

  • Leads the project team to surpass customer's expectation of the services provided. Manages internal and often customer-provided resources

  • Ensures successful application of SCRUM and excellent team dynamics within the agile team environment

  • Acts as SPOC for the customer for all project related matters

  • Maintains total accountability for the success of projects within the scope of overall program.

  • Communicates program/project status to key stakeholders and senior management of overall status against constraints (scope, cost, and schedule)

  • Strictly applies Agile controls and effectively removes obstacles

  • Establishes collaboration and manages interactions between functional organizations impacted by the project

  • Participates in strategic planning sessions with both client and management to determine the scope and objectives of each project.

  • Applies knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile (SCRUM), and Six Sigma (Lean) methodologies and software practices as required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/MIS/Business Administration required. 

  • 10+ years of project management utilizing project management methodologies in successively more responsible leadership roles required - preferably in large technology organizations 

  • Advanced English language abilities especially in business settings

  • Prior experience leading global, enterprise-wide implementations involving implementation partners preferred. 

  • SCRUM certification required

  • PMP certification a plus. 

  • Lean & Six Sigma certification or completed training preferred.

  • Strong negotiating, influencing, and conflict resolution skills
